Brunson to Host, KATSEYE to Perform as SNL Season 52 Kicks Off

"Saturday Night Live" returns September 26 with New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson making his hosting debut, joined by musical guest KATSEYE, who will also perform on the show for the first time. Brunson's appearance follows the Knicks' historic NBA Finals championship, their first title in 53 years, adding a sports twist to the season opener.

The cast also sees changes heading into Season 52. Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter are joining as featured players, while Chloe Fineman, a seven-season veteran known for her impressions and recurring sketches, has confirmed her departure to pursue new projects, including a role in a Netflix drama series. Writer and performer Martin Herlihy is also exiting after five seasons with the show.

Looking ahead, Dakota Johnson returns to host on October 3 with Turnstile performing, followed by Shane Gillis and Rosalía on October 10, and Inde Navarrette's hosting debut alongside Gracie Abrams on October 31 for the Halloween episode.
